Analytics engineer

Provide clients with a comprehensive view of each customer

As an Analytics Engineer, you create value by designing and maintaining robust data pipelines and data models that enable deeper analysis and actionable insights. You go beyond basic data delivery and help organisations work with clean, structured and reliable datasets that support marketing strategies and digital product development.

You play a key role in shaping the data infrastructure and act as a trusted partner to define what is truly needed to support business objectives, not just to fulfil requests. You work closely with marketing, business and IT stakeholders to drive advanced analyses, enable data activation and support decision-making.

Data pipeline development

You design, build and maintain robust ETL and ELT pipelines that transform raw data into usable, analytics-ready datasets. You ensure data consistency, reliability and performance within the data warehouse.

Data modelling

You design and maintain data models that are clear, performant and scalable. You structure data in a way that supports analytics, reporting and activation use cases across teams.

Data quality assurance

You implement validation checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability. You proactively identify and resolve data quality issues before they impact business users.

Translate business needs into data solutions

You align business, data and technical teams around a shared architectural direction. You structure discussions, clarify ownership and support decision-making across teams and stakeholders.

Enable insights &
activation

You work closely with digital analysts, campaign managers and data scientists to deliver clean, analytics-ready datasets. You help ensure data can be reused across dashboards, analyses and activation workflows.

Tools & technology
optimisation

You work with modern data and marketing technologies and help improve the overall data stack. You stay up to date with new tools and practices and apply them where they add clear value.

Your profile

You have a solid background in data and analytics and enjoy working at the intersection of data, technology and business. You’ve built experience with modern data platforms in real-life environments and are motivated to work on scalable, reliable data foundations that others can trust.

You have strong technical skills and are comfortable working with advanced SQL, including complex aggregations, window functions and query optimisation. You understand how to design efficient and scalable data models and have experience working with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery.

You are familiar with building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines, where data is transformed within the data warehouse to support analytics and reporting use cases. You also use Python for data manipulation, scripting or automation when needed, and you are used to working with version control systems such as Git to manage and collaborate on code.

You understand how the different components of the modern data stack work together, from data ingestion and transformation to data warehousing, analytics and activation. You’re able to look beyond individual datasets or pipelines and reason about dependencies, performance and long-term maintainability.

You enjoy collaborating with others and working close to the business. You can translate business questions into concrete data requirements and explain technical topics in a clear and pragmatic way, both to technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders.

Whether you already have several years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or are ready to take the next step, you are structured in your way of working, detail-oriented and keen to keep learning.

This role requires you to be based in Belgium or the Netherlands, as you’ll work in a hybrid setup: collaborating with colleagues in the office, travelling to clients, and doing focused work from your home office.

You speak Dutch and English fluently; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

At Stitchd, you’ll work on complex data projects for well-known brands, alongside a small but highly experienced team of data professionals. We strongly believe in sharing knowledge, as it helps everyone grow faster. At the same time, we expect you to actively contribute by supporting colleagues, improving documentation or working on internal initiatives.
