USE CASE
Event-based tracking and GDDL
Outlining a customer experience plan requires a structured and reliable data strategy. To enable companies in creating these data-driven customer experiences, Stitchd developed a reliable and structured event-based tracking framework, that has already been applied and proven to work for multiple clients.
The implementation leads to a generic digital data layer (GDDL) framework, which allows clients to gain deeper insight in both user behavior and content performance, eventually feeding into optimisation and personalisation exercises. Stitchd guided Bose in the implementation of the framework and its enablement within the business and technical teams.
Key points
Implement event based tracking
Bose agreed to implement the GDDL framework on their consumer facing platforms. This framework helped Bose in extracting deeper and more relevant insights on users and their behaviour. It also allowed to create a unified tracking approach across all domains.
Capture and centralise data
Along with the implementation of the GDDL framework, Stitchd configured the solution design of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch to ensure that all measurement requests can get the most out of the framework.
Generate insights
This has resulted in new opportunities for Bose to perform better analyses and feed that data back into their optimisation and personalisation strategies. Digital- and analytics teams throughout the organisation are trained to generate these insights.
